Real Estate License Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid US Social Security number.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successfully complete sixty-three (63) hours of pre-licensing real estate education.
- Submit proper forms and fees to the Florida Real Estate Commission.
- Pass the licensure examination.
- Complete a state and federal criminal background check.
- Complete 45 hours for sales person post-licensing education.

Florida Broker License Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid US Social Security number.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Submit proper application and fees to the Florida Real Estate Commission.
- Complete fingerprinting process.
- Successfully complete the 72-hour broker pre-licensing class.
- Has held an active real estate license for at least 24 months in the last 5 years.
- Pass the state licensing exam.
- Complete broker post-licensing class of 60 hours.

FL Continuing Education Requirements
In order to renew your license, you must complete 14 hours of continuing education every two years after your first renewal and prior to your license expiring.
